I mean if the delivery date said 5/13-5/14 it won't be shipping until closer to that date. Probably going to ship by end of this week. If you are cancelling and trying to reorder you are just losing more time. I wouldn't cancel unless you find somewhere else which has stock and it shipped.I might cancel my google order and try to reorder...
They haven't listed official codec specs anywhere but from what I have heard the answer is no aptX support.Anyone know the codec specs for these buds? In particular do they have aptX HD?

With the TicPods 2 Pro I have, the car will pair with the phone, and leave the buds connected as well. All is have to do is tap my buds, and they would start playing. If I turn on my car stereo, it'll play through the car speakers. I'm assuming it will work similarly with the Pixel Buds. This may be a silly question but I've never owned wireless earbuds before.
Normally, when I get in my car with my phone, it pairs automatically with the car's Bluetooth. So what will happen if my phone is already paired with Pixel buds when I get in my car? Will the phone/buds pairing remain (and not connect to the car's BT)? Or will it switch over to the car?
Eagerly awaiting the orange buds to come into stock.![]()
I noticed that from TWIT as well. I just received mine last night around 9 pm. Hoping I'll get them outside some today. Some people are experiencing buds cutting out when wearing outside. Not sure if this is a few defective units or a real problem. Anyone here try them outside?

I'll tell you in my Bose earbuds I have the larger tips as well for complete sealing off and for a better bass. I'll probably be doing the same thing with them as well.I noticed that from TWIT as well. I just received mine last night around 9 pm. Hoping I'll get them outside some today.
I've been going back and forth between the medium and large gel buds. I feel the large ones give me a better seal, and helps me get better bass. But the wing doesn't fit in like I've seen in all the videos I've watched. In my ears they just lock in above the buds, rather than in front.
Also noticed that pause doesn't work when watching YouTube TV. That's sort of odd.
I was outside yesterday for couple of hours and was using the buds all the time and didn't notice any cut offs on mine. During that time what I found was how using Google assistant was amazing with the buds. Checking notifications, changing songs, playing podcasts, making a call was all a breeze with it.Some people are experiencing buds cutting out when wearing outside. I was out for about 15 minutes on a walk. Used them with and without Wi-Fi, and had zero issues with music cutting out on me. I was using YTM, and had no problems whatsoever. First earbuds I've had that didn't have that issue, so it's a big win for me so far.I was outside yesterday for couple of hours and was using the buds all the time and didn't notice any cut offs on mine. excellent, excellent review guys. I mean for me, I couldn't imagine that the picture but it was would have outside Bluetooth noise interference whatsoever. My Bose earbuds have always been fine for the past year and a half and I use them outside all the time.I was outside yesterday for couple of hours and was using the buds all the time and didn't notice any cut offs on mine. Haha couldn't have said a better myself!Great news that you guys are not experiencing the "cutting out" issue. Thanks for reporting back.
I was driving as well during my outdoor time, my iPhone 11 pro max connected to my car bluetooth (but nothing playing via Bluetooth) and had my pixel buds connected to my 4 XL and playing stuff. No issues caused due to any interference. Also at home I have multiple bluetooth stuff going and don't have interference issues there as well.excellent, excellent review guys. Yup yup awesomeness. That's why you're going to take some of these reviewers with a grain of salt sometimes unfortunately.I was driving as well during my outdoor time, my iPhone 11 pro max connected to my car bluetooth (but nothing playing via Bluetooth) and had my pixel buds connected to my 4 XL and playing stuff. Jeff on twit is a huge Google shill so if he definitely had that problem for sure. Why he had that not sure, may be he had a faulty unit and I also know Jeff is not great at tech watching the TWIT shows over the years so may be some user error somewhere who knows. But I think if he says he is having an issue I would think it's genuine.Yup yup awesomeness. That's why you're going to take some of these reviewers with a grain of salt sometimes unfortunately.
