New Pixel Buds 2 are available now !!!!

I am in the Google ecosystem. This is why I'm wondering if I should also get the pixel buds. I think I'll make a decision by next weekend.
If price is a concern and you are looking for value buy this definitely doesn't fit that. You probably will be able to find other earbuds. But if you are shopping for earbuds which are in the range of around $150, I would say this are worth considering for a little more.

I'm on 159 as well and says I'm up to date. I heard as well that there is a new firmware but probably not widely pushed.

I am also 159. I am really digging this buds. I think they are better than my Jabra 75t.

Ok cool im on 159 as well i could have swore i saw a notification that an update was available on my phone.

I was a little concerned about 1 bud draining faster than the other but i saw on the google community that its ok and normal and the software will try to balance it out i noticed my left one drained about 10 percent faster than the right one..

Yeah, that's certainly not what I've seen with other wireless buds, but will be interesting to see how it goes over an extended time.

Well if you're wondering if you can tell the difference between $30 earbuds, and $170 earbuds the simple answer is yes. You've got to make that decision for yourself though;you're right. From for and finish, to quality to Google Assistant integration, of course everything is all there. That's the most I can tell you. Good luck in your decision.

Well, couldn't have said that better myself.

8 think they are too. I've got my Bose SoundSport truly wireless earbuds, and from what all of the reviews say about the. Re pixel buds, they definitely feel and sound better than the Jabra's, and the Bose.

Oh, well I'm glad you did find that out and researched that because I might've been concerned about that that and then researched that as well. It 1 of the buds still draining faster than the other bud though?

Well in today's day and age, especially in Google land, s/w tricks definitely go for a longer way than with most other manufacturers, that's for damn sure.

I woke up this morning and my Pixel Buds' firmware has updated. They are now on 225

My Pixel Buds updated overnight to firmware 225, but my right bud is draining battery faster than the left bud.

Yep mine updated to 225 as well overnight.

As far as one draining more than the other, I think that happens on my airpods as well. I have seen one side run out of battery faster compared to other. Believe that's something got to do with they both are individual earbuds and in theory yes they should drain at similar rate but I have seen in few other buds that's not the case. But yeah it shouldn't deviate too much like one is 80% and other is 50%. As long as they are in close range I think they are fine, I don't think they will ever be draining at same percentage.

Yeah, I mean if you're using both ear buds at the same tine, I can't imagine why one side would drain faster than the other side. I can understand if you're just wearing one bud at a time though.
White buds back in stock on Google Store. Should get them by 5/14.
Well, that's wonderful news to hear, that's for sure!

I am having a battery drain issue with my left bud. It is draining significantly faster than the right bud. I just got them today. I will give it a couple of days to see if it evens out.
I was running into this but did some research and it's by design. It's to do with Google assistant et. But it will rotate. For example say your left bud is at 70% and your right bud at 50% eventually it swaps the heavy lifting and it will catch up so don't worry. I tested this and it's true it does rotate automatically so your not going to run into an issue where one goes to 0% while the other stays at like 20/30%. Read it in some reddit post which I don't remember the URL for but you can probably just Google it.
