I can't say for sure since I typically spend a lot of time on wifi, but 3G browsing seems faster. Does anyone else notice?

Yeah, I think i can kind of confirm this. I was traveling yesterday, and downloaded a new kernel for the Dinc. It was quite a bit faster than previous.

IDK, I'm not positive, but hey. If it ain't broke don't fix it, and this radio isn't broke.

No mines just as fast as it ever was, but that doesn't rule out your particular situation. Maybe I just have a stronger signal to begin with! I would like, if possible, I know leaks don't come with them, a change log. I would be interesting to see what they thought or did change.

If I told you that radio 1,2 and 5 came from HTC signed RUU images, and the rest came from the Unrevoked team, would it make you feel better?

I don't trust things if I don't know a least some part of where it came from, as well. Thats why I gave unrevoked all the credit in the original thread.

As far as a radio coming out that's malicious in any form, I trust Adrynalyne. He has provided us with a lot of material none of it being malicious and all of it being of aid. If he doesn't want to release his sources so be it, I would honor his request and not ask. Because after all the people who leak these things out can't just say, "hey I'm 'dumb tester', I work for Verizon in the testing department here are all the internal builds of stuff we have. If something doesn't work right email me at dumbtester@verizonwireless.com!!"

In the end when messing with ROMs, Radios, Kernels, and other hacks you are merely placing your trust in someone, that somebody else has used, and their phone still works. It's all about reliability and trust and I think I can say Adrynalyne has gained mine......a long time ago. And in the end, nobody is forcing anyone to flash them, you don't trust it don't flash it!!

I'm noticing (after almost a day of usage) slightly faster downloads, but also a slight decrease in battery life...though that could certainly be SkyRaider doing that too.

I'm on Virtuous 2.6 and I think I'm seeing the same. Makes sense: radio firmware that works a little bit harder to be a little bit better translates to battery life that's just a little bit worse.

Just to reiterate: battery life is only ever so slightly worse.

Just flashed the new radio this morning but now my smooth sense icons wasn't there; tried to reload it but causes my phone to bootloop which caused me to restore from a backup...Did this happen to anyone else? Any fix to get the smooth sense icons back..I just want the battery icon with the white text percentage lol.

edit: nevermind, it was the rotary lockscreen I loaded. lol.

Installed it this morning, and haven't noticed a lot of difference in battery life. Working great, and definitely notice a surfing speed increase.

so if i've got 2.2 update from OTA and am NOT rooted yet... do i have to go BACK to 2.1, root myself using unrevoked3, THEN use forever to get the radio update to work?

or can i root using the OTA 2.2 and unrevoked3?

Just wait. unRevoked 3.2(1) should be (re-)released soon. Then just root and s-off you phone with it and install the radio.

Does anyone have any information on how this new radio affects the intermittent/random reboot issue(s) with the DINC on CM6? Maybe my question is even more n00bish - Does the radio image have anything to do with WiFi? (I really wanted to type 'or the G B's?')

Well, I can safely say the new radio works fine. Unfortunately, I wasn't on the OLD 2.15.xx radio long enough to make an official determination that this radio is indeed superior.

I've had better luck with the 2.15.07.28 radio with Wireless and random reboots. Since I downgraded and I haven't had it do it once. 5 days solid now.
