New radio 2.15.00.09.01

Just installed. Past two 2.x radios my signal strength was identical to my fiance's bb curve around different parts of the house and outside. This one the reading is 7 dbm stronger. Either way I still show zero bars with a strong signal which is frustrating. Fix the bar algorithm! It really needs to be standardized.

I had the same problem, what i did was *22899 and now my bars show the correct signal strength. It seems to update something related to NAM ( i noticed it just before reboot)

Read about it in another forum somewhere (can't remember where.....old lol), so i thought i would give it a try and it worked. Glad it worked for ya.

In regards to the drama at the beginning, that was a pretty low thing to do. You completely made the original, un-edited post sound like it was you who was hosting, and who had done the hard work to get it out here. Which simply wasn't the case.

Luckily, the radio is fantastic. Thanks to adrynalyne for this; it works very well.

Getting the "No image or wrong image!" message, after putting it in the root of my SD. I'm S-Off and currently running the 2.15.00.07.28 radio.

Any ideas?

Is your card formatted to Fat 32?

Good call, JKK. I forgot that I had used a different card before, which I specifically formatted FAT32 for radio flashes.

Can't seem to make it update. I tried through ROM Manager and by going into ClockWorkMod manually. Yes, the file is on the root of the card. Yes, it's FAT32.

IN CWM I get a "no image..." at the initial boot and then some kind of "Parsing" message when I try to install from the sdcard. It scrolls by so fast I can't tell. When I reboot the phone it still shows I'm running 7.28. Any suggestions?

I had this same problem, and I just downloaded it straight on my phone instead of from my computer to the phone and it worked. hope this helps.

I have to laugh at this thread, I wanted info on the radio, and all I am reading is about who is getting credit, thanks to the original leaker, but comon', will this make you feel better, great job! How about some info on the radio now?

First of all, I didn't request that the op delete it. I asked for credit, seeing how I hosted the files and am paying for the bandwidth. Also, the thread was specifically requested by a member of unrevoked, and I did it with his blessing, in return for getting to host some pretty cool radios. When I brought it up, the op merely switched the hosting directory(I moved it because I was pissed), and still did not give me credit.

Secondly, I am over it, and don't think it needs discussing further past this comment. If the OP wants to help folks with these radios, or give info on what he knows about them, he should feel free and is encouraged to do so.

Lastly, there are still two links in this thread to the original posting.
The info given in those threads is all thats out there. Changelogs don't accompany stuff we aren't even supposed to have.

I wish these new images listed a source. I mean, I understand that these leaks probably come from testers, but there has to be a lot of trust to flash something like this. It's just a matter of time before a leaked radio or ROM comes out, which enables remote snooping. The same OS that gives us freedom also grants the possibility of abuse.

So far there is no added benefit of running the 9.1 radio. I get identical signal results (don't have bad signal anyways) and I have seen no difference in battery etc. So I dunno what the result of this has been really? Guess I'll stay just because?!

If I told you that radio 1,2 and 5 came from HTC signed RUU images, and the rest came from the Unrevoked team, would it make you feel better?

I don't trust things if I don't know a least some part of where it came from, as well. Thats why I gave unrevoked all the credit in the original thread.

I can't say for sure since I typically spend a lot of time on wifi, but 3G browsing seems faster. Does anyone else notice?
