New Radio for ThunderBolt - LTE/3G Handoff fix - Battery Drain - More!

I can confirm that this update appears to fix the video camera sound issue! Very nice!

I finally got the guts to do it. In the process of setting everything up the way i had it. One problem though, i lost all my contacts!! I imported them to my SD card a week ago though. Can anyone tell me how to get them back from my SD card or thru google sync?

If you go into people then menu, there should be an import export option you can choose then from sd card.

I was concerned about this as well. I was pleasantly surprised to see all my contacts reappear after signing in to google post-flash during the activation process. I'm quickly warming up to the fact that my data lives in the cloud now and that no matter which android device I carry google is now the master source for email and contact info. I wasn't ready to make this jump (or leap of faith) months ago but seeing how seamless it works I've stopped worrying about it. The side benefit is that during the activation process I denied the terms of service for the Verizon backup program which means I don't have to worry about when it runs and syncs.

Google has quickly become my cloud provider. This may or may not be a good thing in the long run but it does make wiping/rooting/playing with a phone much easier to deal with. Simply sign in to google and all your "stuff" gets loaded on the phone. I'm feeling assimilated. Is that bad?

Can someone who has updated their phone using this ROM report on the changes you are seeing in battery life?

Is there a specific reason you used this app to backup everything? Just wondering if there are any other backup apps available for non rooted users.

I just use that one because it backs up your settings, home screens and is the one I'm most used to. There are many others you can get that are in the market. Mybackup pro is the one I like the best. Its really up to you which you want. Most of them work well.

It went through my battery like a fat kid on a cupcake.
I tried three different flavors, new LTE stock CDMA, Stock LTE new CDMA and new both.
I went back to the original radio for both.

I should edit/add I'm in LTE area all day long. I use LTE while at work (our Internet is T1 based, SLOW...) but I use WiFi @ home.
I have Active Sync pushing email from 8-6, then checking every 1/2 hour (it is a "work" phone...) :)
