Sorry to report guys but lte still eats battery. Also not noticing better battery life.
New to this HTC hboot flashing thing . First I am not rooted , second I downloaded the non root ruu and put it on my SD root names something like png05img.zip then booted into hboot by holding vol. Down and hitting power button. It scans the card and said checking png05img.zip but doesn't apply update. How do I flash this ruu. Any help would be great ! Ty in advance.
incorrect, radio should go from 1.16.00.0223r to 1.16.00.0402w_1 if the update is applied correctlyI was reading the XDA thread and I don't know if the unrooted version is the same or not, but with the rooted version they said that the radio version will be shown as the same as stock.

No I figure that it's probably really close to being released OTA since the leaked version appears to be pretty stable. So I'm just going to wait.
No, what your link says is that you will be able to keep root, if you already have rooted. It also states you will lose all customizations including your apps.Apparently there is a version for us non-rooted users.....anybody try it yet?
New RUU Leaks for HTC Thunderbolt ? Fixes GPS, Audio Recording and LTE Hand-off (Updated) - Droid Life: A Droid Community Blog
The phone still has to keep checking to see if it encounters a 4G signal. I've noticed that just checking can cause the loss of all data.I live in a 3G-only area, so hand-off is not an issue (yet). My problem has been a repetitive dropping of data requiring multiple restarts per day. Regrettably, I finally had to return my phone before the return window closed on me.
Does anyone know if this fix addresses the dropped data issue?
So what's the verdict.....good experiences so far? Pros and cons? still too early to tell?
