New root

XDA is better to get your ROMS from. Rom Manager hasn't been wiping and people have been having terrible issues after flashing that way.

XDA has them. Download the zip of whatever rom and then put it on your sd card. Boot your phone into recovery. Do a nand backup. Then wipe cache, data and dalvick cache. Then flash your rom from sd card.

do i have to wipe them in the order you put them in?

CM6 at first glance looks plain and lacks sense. This is because it's based on AOSP and rebuilt from the ground up. If you're looking for performance, then it's CM6. No crapware or anything. If you really want some eye candy then check out MIUI. It's also AOSP based. That's my current rom right now. If you miss sense, then check out Myn's RLS5 or Mikfroyo. Those are the fastest sense roms IMO. I suggest you keep reading because further down the line, ur gonna have to start flashing kernels, radios, and updated recovery.

Okay so with CM6 for some reason it doesnt come with the new market place is there something i got to do get it or should it come with the updated version?
