Really like this Tab S with the book cover, and this forum has been helpful in solving several newbie puzzles.
Thought I'd be irritated with not having a dedicated USB port, but it hasn't been a problem so far.
My old tablet is an Acer A500, which is still running OK, but way out-classed by the Tab S.

Edit: My comment regarding "a dedicated USB port" was intended to mean a full-size USB A port. That said, I do not believe the Tab S should have a USB A port because it likely would have increased the thickness of the tablet.

Just get the OTG USB cable. The one from Samsung is good, but you can get cheaper options online. I love this tablet, I really wish they'd come up with the same one but with an S-Pen. I was sad to see the new S line change the screen ratio and going with a smaller screen :(

I just plug a regular usb cable into the mine that is permanently plugged into my pc. It is the same one I hook up my Blackberry phone to, my Kindle reader and other devices.

I do have a usb-to-go adapter that I've used to hook up a thumbdrive and my Canon camera to the Tab S.

I think that's what the OP meant by -dedicated USB port- hehe, the ability to plug in USB things. The Tab S, of course, has a microUSB port.
