I purchased a Garimn Vivosmart yesterday and trying to pair the device to my Samsung Galaxy (software version 4.4). Nowhere in the vivosmart owners manual does it tell you that you need to enter a PIN. When trying to pair the device I'm prompted for a PIN (it says "Enter that device's PIN" Hints to try 0000 or 1234 on my android. When I try either of these two codes I get a message saying "unable to communicate with vivosmart # (lists my serial number). Any ideas?

Welcome to the forums. Did you get a pair pin message on the phone? When I pair say my M8 and Nexus 5, it says (for security) something about a PIN code (6 digits long) and if they match. Did you get something like that?
