I just bought my first tablet yesterday, a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Wifi only tablet. I'm not a smartphone user now or likely to be in the future: smartphone screens are too small for my eyes or fingers and I like having a phone be just a phone. 
I've been a developer and technical writer on the Windows and various *Nix platforms since the 1980s, however, so I'm not *completely* computer illiterate. Hanging out here to learn, ask questions, hopefully figure things out without too many wasted hours cussing at recalcitrant hardware.
