New to the forums here. Had my Fascinate and my Droid X since 9/30/10. Been reasonably happy with both with minor tweaks. Droid X had least amount of tweaks to make it a nice Multimedia unit. And the SF is my #1 Phone/do it all unit

. Had it set up pretty nicely with working Z4root 1.3.0, OCLF 2.0, when it was on 2.1

but when the 2.2 OTA update failed multiple times:'( and I was directed by Verizon to do a Factory reset

. I uninstalled my Z4, OCLF, and both AVG and Lookout mobile security apps.
Now I have Superuser(latest version) stuck on my phone. Can't get root through following the steps in the how to root sticky. SuperUser isn't granting permissions to anything and I can't figure out how to remove it so I can start fresh. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. And I'd be happy to discuss any apps I have installed on either phone.

PS this seems like the Coolest forum I've ever been on since WWW. Midwestneons.com
Lot's of good people over there too. Thanks in Advance for any help offered.
