New version of PDA Net+ works with JB

They just updated FoxFi and Pdanet + for JB.

I checked out their website and version 4.12 is out and is supposed to have enabled the WiFi tethering with JellyBean on our Maxx. I hope that it is true. I'll have to try it out. If so, that is very good news.

Works after the update for me. It now work by setting up a VPN and requires you to activate a pattern lock on your phone (for some reason). It also, for me at least, activated the Verizon hotspot icon and still "checks subscription status" when activating. I'll be watching my bill closely

Bad news from the similar thread is, apparently cannot return to the screen unlock options if or when it's uninstalled. That would be a deal breaker for me - permanent alteration to phone settings is not cool. I'm sure developers will try to address it because as is, most users will shy away when word spreads.
