New version of sense

Here's an idea guys. It may be a little far fetched but bare with me......

Please stay on topic. This is not a palm section of the forum. Of you would like to talk about palm and webos then there is a section dedicated for other devices and operating systems so please use it.

Beat me to it! The topic of the new sense on EVO is important to lots of people (myself included) so I would love to have the OP thread progress. I apologize for assisting in taking it off topic.

The webos/android topic is fun as well so I encourage you to continue that discussion in the forum Bret referrenced.

BOT - I see there are at least 1 ROM out now for the rooted folks (linked earlier) which is built off the new sense and some other aspects are out in the hacking community such as the flip clock. If I were a betting man I'd guess there will be an official release for the non-rooted people from Sprint/HTC as the EVO is their baby right now. Also the EVO is a second gen device so it has plenty of upgrade capability. This is all of course MHO.

Being able to download map regions of google maps to your micro sd card with the new sense, is what I really need. That way you can use the google maps without a data connection. Good for when out of the country and no CDMA.

And does the new sense do custom fonts for the entire OS, display fonts for example?

Does anyone know if the new sense will have an updated Bluetooth so we could maybe, just maybe sync a Wii or PS3 controller?

Sense = No BT stack = no wii mote.

Oh trust me I am definitely considering it.

I know this is WAY of topic....BUT, if I root and ROM when I go back to square one will HTC/Sprint (mostly Sprint) be able to tell if I ever did?

that Rom is awesome,

if u want the new sense, then try that rom,not stable enough for me without the camera...

never know when u might need it.
