New video showcases much wanted feature

Hey guys just saw this new video on YouTube posted last night from which.Co.UK that shows a feature I haven't seen in any of the other on hands videos, native screenshot without root W00T. Nice. Glad they have integrated native screen caps. I wonder if that's ICS or Samsung. I know you can do that on the Fascinate by holding the back button, then pressing the power button.

Either way, very convenient! I've been using drocap forever. This will be nice!

I'm in the same boat, but I'm still worried that I'll miss webOS. This is the first phone that I think I might like. I'm really hoping Matias's influence on ICS will help me like android because I really don't like it on my wife's Fascinate.

I'll be modding the GN to work with my Touchstone charges. I LOVE those things and I don't think the GN battery will last much longer than the Pre's.

I would guess almost every feature of this phone is ICS since it's a Nexus, and the point of a Nexus is to show off software.

Really like the screen capture method too. Holding down power + vol. down seems pretty convenient.

I couldn't tell you but if it did, it was a feature of TouchWiz (the skin running on top of Android). This feature has never been in Android and needs to have a rooted phone and an app to work.

yeah, believe the Froyo update brought it to the Fascinate and I know the Charge has it. Not sure which others have native screenshot abilities.

The GS2 and some other Android phones have the screenshot capture feature without rooting.

Once mentioned, I did remember seeing that in the Google/Samsung event. I am pushing 40 though ;-p
