New VVRUDNK1 update

Anyone notice anything in this update? I was thinking maybe it added HD voice or something, but I haven't found anything added. Just a small bug fix? Anyone else get the "intelligence service" stopped notification, when you restart or first boot the phone? I've gotten it now since the VVRUDNJ6 update.

You get the "intelligence service stopped" notification everytime you restart the phone or on a new boot up? It's super annoying. Wish they would have at least fixed that in this update.

Ahh Ok so it may just be for some. I read about others having it pop up and then I noticed it. Oh well, not horrible but it gets a lil annoying.

Yea, probably. I just downloaded and installed it last night. Seems to be running very well but I just haven't noticed anything. Hopefully there is one or two nice additions to this build. The VOLTE would be awesome, but I don't see anything anywhere in the build to enable it yet.

I took the update Friday 1/9 and I really haven't noticed a thing different! I was hoping for something new, like better battery life, but I don't think so!

Yea, probably. I just downloaded and installed it last night. Seems to be running very well but I just haven't noticed anything. Hopefully there is one or two nice additions to this build. The VOLTE would be awesome, but I don't see anything anywhere in the build to enable it yet.

There's only 2 Samsung phones that support VOLTE calling the Note Edge and S5 and Knox won't be supported by Verizon bc they're going to use their own security..Haven't noticed anything new with the update so far.

Agreed. I really hope Samsung switches up the background color on it anything but battery consuming white would be great..

This update has cured my battery woes. 15 hours on my battery and at 52% with heavy use. That wouldn't have flown before.

Yea, my battery life seems a lil bit better now. I'm at 8% battery left, 16 hrs 52 mins off charger, 6 hrs 23 mins screen on time. It's pretty good!

I honestly see some improvement on this update

1: feels more responsive (coming from an iphone)

2:battery life has improved

3:typing is even more smoother for SwiftKey

4:4g data connectivity is better seems faster

Honestly the note series will be the only android phone I will own... Never disappoints me and me coming from an iPhone and still like the iPhone, but having a galaxy s3 and then the s5 which is horrible... Owning a note is simply why I love android... Only thing I wish it was more popular and more like imessage is hangouts... But overall... I use this phone like a tablet for sure making short films, heavy on social media etc .. It's awesome.. And this update made this phone very silky smooth I think... And it's good Verizon take long on updates... You gotta see the problems others are having with different carriers.... I honestly think android lollipop will perfect when it comes to verzion

As I mentioned on the other thread about this update, it basically fubar'd my mate's phone. She installed the update, but when it booted up afterword, it immediately popped up a notice that an incorrect passcode was entered 14 times and that the phone would be factory reset. She didn't even try unlocking the phone once before getting this message. In the process, it also wiped her micro SD card. To add insult to injury, the Verizon cloud app hasn't been backing up properly and missing the majority of her files. I'll try a data recovery when I get home later, but she's beyond pissed to say the least. With all the phones she's had through Verizon, I don't think she ever got one update that didn't screw something up, and my track record hasn't been much better.

I pulled my SD card before I did the update.
My phone seems abit faster and definitely smoother!
My reception is better. I had 3G 2 bars in a place today where I had no service at all before!
I think my battery life is a tad better!
Overall I am very happy with the update!
