New Zagg

Fortunately for us N8 owners, Zagg's discovery of using a gel on a glass protector is not pure alchemy. It's likely competitors will figure out how to put gel on glass and if this combo actually works, we'll all have a vast choice of $12 protectors on Amazon.

Here's hoping.

The curved edged screen protectors made in the past by Zagg were different from their flat screen protectors. The curved edge screen protector had adhesive only on the sides, whereas the flat screen protector had adhesive on the entire surface. Now Zagg has figured out how to do the same with the edged screen, by using a gel adhesive. In the past, when they tried to apply other adhesives to the entire screen, they would get a halo effect or bubbles.

I have been sportin' a curved zagg on my Note 8 since I got it and I can assure you it has some sort of adhesive all over the back of the thing. My son has one also and while installing one of them a while back, I dropped the thing. We all know what happens when you drop buttered toast...the same thing that happens when you drop a screen protector without the protective film on the glue side. It lands in the carpet on the "buttered" side. When I picked it up, it had carpet fibers stuck all over the back side. I called Zagg and told them what happened and they sent me a new one free of charge (no shipping) and I didn't have to send the other one back. After this, I can attest to the fact that there is some sort of adhesive covering the entire back of the old Zagg curves. I can also attest that it doesn't adhere very well and I am hoping the new "Elite" will do a better job. I'm hoping the gel system will work better.

Zagg can not make a invisible screen protector period. They jacked me around for I don't know how long. They have one of the poorest customer service representative at so laughing out loud Ving simple issues. Hell he did nothing then sent me a email touting What did I think if the world class service...you kidding me. Zagg sucks beware folks

Avoid this product

Ok, you all talked me into it, I'll be buying one soon (today or tomorrow)

Despite following the instructions to the letter , the unit would not sit flat on my phone. A complete waste of money - do NOT buy this product. Wait for something better to come out.

I thought thirty bucks was expensive for my last Zaag for the Note 5. Now fifty bucks? Forget-about-it. These accessory companies think everyone is an ***** for simply paying the piper... ain't gonna happen with this one.
