the mark up on Zagg screen shields is ridiculous... especially for a product that might not work
The curved edged screen protectors made in the past by Zagg were different from their flat screen protectors. The curved edge screen protector had adhesive only on the sides, whereas the flat screen protector had adhesive on the entire surface. Now Zagg has figured out how to do the same with the edged screen, by using a gel adhesive. In the past, when they tried to apply other adhesives to the entire screen, they would get a halo effect or bubbles.
Ok, you all talked me into it, I'll be buying one soon (today or tomorrow)
Fortunately for us N8 owners, Zagg's discovery of using a gel on a glass protector is not pure alchemy. It's likely competitors will figure out how to put gel on glass and if this combo actually works, we'll all have a vast choice of $12 protectors on Amazon.
Here's hoping.
