Newb questin about ringtones

Can't seem to figure out where to copy a custom ringtone. I can't find the right folder to drop it into. Shouldn't the phone scan new media that's added and make it available?

Internal SD card

media/audio/notifications

media/audio/ringtones

Create the media folder (and the subfolders) if they don't exist already. Place your desired tones in the appropriate folder and they should show up. If they show up, but you can't preview them, reboot.
