*newbie alert* root my N4, how to update superuser?

Hi,

Apologised if this have been posted somewhere. I've recently rooted my N4 and now I need to update my superuser. I tried looking in the forum but can't find the latest superuser file and the correct way of updating it.

Will I lost all my setup and stuffs if I update superuser?

You can either update it in the market if you have root already and just need to update, or you can flash this SuperSU Download

If you are logged into Playstore, you will automatically receive an update when there is a new version depending on which Superuser app you're using.

I'm currently using superuser from clockworkmod. It state that superuser binary must be update. Recovery mode installation is recommended for HTC device. If I cost that option, will I lost all my setup and stuff? Thanks for answering.

No it will just install the new su binary as it said. It may required your device to have custom recovery to install correctly.
