Just got myself a S3. Had a blackberry then tried WP7. Can't figure out how to you my mp3s as ringtones and I'm hoping to learn all about rooting. Need to get my phone unlocked. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

When playing a song in the default music player, bring up the menu, there should be a way to select Set as Ringtone. At least there is on my phone, but, I'm not running ICS. That'll globally set your ringtone for all incoming calls. It appears that it also adds it to the list of ringtones, so, you could then use it to set a custom ringtone for someone.
