Newest Radio Issues

Since the update my data connection is nowhere as good as it used to be. It fluctuates between 3g and 4g in places it never used to. Then at other times even though it shows i have a connection, the phone acts like it does not and will not use anything concerning data. Also unrelated but i suppose related to the update because it only happened after - are i now get that annoying gsm sound in my headset. You know the one when you place the phone near a speaker and also my screen sometimes malfunctions.

I have done a hard reset already. Same dice.

Anyone else having issues?

I was just at Verizon store and an employee said that they are having issue with 4g signal over the last couple of days.

Thanks for the heads-up. I will give it a few days and see what happens although that doesn't account for the other problems i stated having after the update.

I don't know if it is in relation to the update, but I started noticing it after the update that my wifi is dropping signal again. It will go from full bars to none in a matter of nanoseconds.

I've seen dropped mobile data, which means I have call service but any apps requiring data do not respond or report connection is required.
I leave the mobile data enabled full time and hadn't seen this before. I believe HTC since the X / DNA just can't get their network protocols right on their
mobile phones. I'm waiting to see what zV has coming in and may switch out to another brand I use alot of streaming apps that just won't run correctly
on this device due to connectivity issues, and while the One looks good (if vZ gets some version of it) I just am not sure I trust HTC anymore.

I too have noticed my wifi has been dropping since the last update. Every once in awhile over the last week, I will look at it and notice it has no connection.

I've had the TBolt, now the DNA, and while some people may have a few minor issues with the DNA, it's nowhere near the number of folks who had major issues with the Bolt.

Just my opinion, though.

I don't know about HTC hate. Dispite the few issues that have seemed to pop up after this last small update I still hold this phone as one of the best that i've ever owned, owining quite a few... from what i've read, and from being on vzw myself for some time, it seems there is a marked improvement in the time that issues are serviced with this phone. Thankfully.

Yeah, no HTC hate from me. This is still the best phone on Verizon, and the only other phone that might be better overall on any carrier is the One. Just a minor issue.
