It's lg though and I have not had good luck with lg.
They make solid products. I even put Nova Prime in it. But somehow it's lagging. Camera is slow to start up

Awesome! They seem to hold up really well. I am shocked. It kind of snuck up on me - the fact that it's been a year (almost) and I've had minimal issues with the device thus far. Yay!
Yah Huawei makes great long lasting products. I won't be disappointed with them in the long run
Yeah. The honor 8 is really something. I mean I have bought and sold many phones in this time, but the honor 8 is still with me.Awesome! They seem to hold up really well. I am shocked. Hopefully you will be able to fix your problems with the g6.They make solid products. I even put Nova Prime in it. But somehow it's lagging. Camera is slow to start up
Even though I can... I just don't want to.For sure! It's nice when phones hold up; especially since many of us can't afford to upgrade sooner than planned!![]()

Activated by that you mean just simply turning it on or going through the registration process like I did. How would they know the phone has ever been turned on before me as if it was an open box that very well be the case. So am I okay as long as they didn't register the phone? I registered it no problem.Well the issue would be if someone else activated the phone before you. If not then I think you should get the entire 1 year warranty, assuming that you are the first owner.
Thanks for the great feedback and letting me know I made the right choice. With all the talk of the assumed lack of updates it began to make me rethink my decision there for a moment but what you said makes me feel a lot better. This is a very solid and fluid device which is why I always seem to come back to it. Something told me deep inside just go back to the honor 8 and make it your long term device and of course I've done that now. I just hope that they indeed update the phone as promised.Yes you did! To illustrate, I usually upgrade my devices every 12-18 months - and not just because I would want a new phone, but because my current phone would have issues at around the year mark. My Nexus 5's battery was dying. My LG G3's battery was corrupt, the phone lagged, and it took 16 hours to charge.
My Honor 8, at almost eleven months old, has had minimal issues. Sure, the battery is maybe a little bit less than it was almost a year ago; but it still gives me excellent mileage. Barely any lag; and there's only the odd hiccup or two. I've never been this satisfied with a device. Also, I've never been so torn as to whether or not to upgrade. I've decided to wait because I love my phone too much.
Don't worry! This is a great phone for an excellent price. It will hold up for you! Especially since you treat your phones well!
Oh it definitely is. Great bang for the buck.Yah, the Honor line up are a great pick for more affordable and yet a well performer device
That seems like a waste... I mean if the only issue is the slowness and it can be fixed...Yah, it'll get fixed by upgrading to a different phone lol
I am not sure how their system is but Apple warranty starts the day the phone is first activated. Apple keeps a record of that. Not sure whether Huawei does thoughActivated by that you mean just simply turning it on or going through the registration process like I did. I am going to call them and make sure my phone is under warranty real quick. Stand by for an update.I am not sure how their system is but Apple warranty starts the day the phone is first activated. Apple keeps a record of that. Not sure whether Huawei does though
Wow that's great news! So no downside for this open box purchase!I just called honor and they looked up my phone and my phone is indeed under the one year factory warranty. I'm glad to know that since mine was an open box. I thought that I would be bc I had no problem registering it yesterday on their site. So that's good news.
