Next Honor phone for USA?

Mate 9 is an LCD display. My phone is 6.3". I don't see a significant difference between 1080p and higher. But it depends on your eyes

I see the difference but definitely not a huge difference. Huawei makes great LCD display phones.

Well the mate 9 for example has a good panel, but in terms of accuracy, it isn't as good as the competition.

Looks like iPhone X display took the crown from the Note 8 for the best ever display in a phone.

What phone do you have that's 6.3 inches? I bet that's an awesome media phone. That is huge! So yours you have that is 6.3 is a 1080p? Well if you don't see any difference on it then the Mate 9 at 5.9 inches should be fine too then. That's the next phone I'd really like to get my hands on to be my media device. I'd love to be able to rotate phones and be able to stay on EMUi. I love this software. It's nothing remotely like Android which is why I like it so much. Also EMUI is actually butter smooth and very fluid. I can only imagine the Mate 9 would be a fun phone to use and watch movies on. I like having two devices one smaller like the honor 8 for my daily driver and one larger for my media and movies device. Right now I have two smaller phones and I'm trying to sale my other phone to help save up for hopefully the Mate 9. What ever I get it will be a 5.5 inch screen or larger.

The Mate 9 does look nice! I too have found myself looking at Huawei phones for my next upgrade. They seem to be the only ones that meet all of my criterion. I've heard great things about the Mate 9's camera too, I believe? It seems like an all-around great smartphone.

You won't be disappointed in the camera . Battery life is fantastic on it as well. If you can find one for no more than $400 then you got a nice deal

Oh definitely! But the P10 is a great phone as well. I really wanted one as well

I was thinking the P10 was an international model only and was never released to the US? I would have gotten one of those myself but I never could locate a US version. Are you just going to get the International version? If so you might not get 4g here with it. I was just curious as I too have always looked at that phone too.

Note 8. It has fhd+ mode and QHD+ mode. The difference was pretty small for me.

It's available in Canada from my career, Rogers! I think Bell sells it too. Perhaps it's now available in the States, as well! It looks really nice. I like the white/gold version.

Huawei had a presence through the carriers here a few years ago but for whatever reason, they decided to drop the usa market back then. Now they want back in.. But there are probably some behind the scenes obstacles

It's available in Canada from my career, Rogers! I think Bell sells it too. Perhaps it's now available in the States, as well! It looks really nice. I like the white/gold version.
