Yes, to the extent that the subject of the thread was to compare the devices. Not to advocate for one simply because it is the one that you own.
Precisely. And that would tend to support my theory that the majority of those in love with the Note 10.1 have not had a lot of first hand exposure to the Nexus 10. Some people really like their Hondas until their first test drive of a BMW.
Yes, this supports my point that some Note 10.1 advocates are simply cheering for the Note because it is the tablet they've bought (in most cases, I suspect, before the Nexus 10 was released - this would appear to be your situation). Blind advocacy for the Note without a serious comparative look at the market competition is of little value, an opinion in a vacuum if you will. The purpose of the thread was to compare the two, which I've tried to do.
No, regrettably the Note 10.1 is not a budget device. It is priced quite high, especially in light of the Nexus 10 coming to market in the same price range. I did not write that it is a budget device. I wrote that it feels like a budget device, which it does. Try a Nexus 10 for a few days, and I think you'll better understand what I mean. They look and feel like they're in entirely different leagues.
I agree that the Note 10.1 is a top five 10" tablet. I would rate it third behind the Nexus 10 and ipad. But it is a very distant third.
I don't think you're stupid, but I find it difficult to say that you are highly educated on the comparison given that you have not yet tried the Nexus 10.
Here again you appear to be advocating. No device is perfect, certainly not one with a screen resolution of 149 ppi.
