Nexus 2 announcement 11/8

I just read on the interwebz that the Nexus 2 is supposed to be announced 11/8 and is being manufactured by Samsung. I just got my first Android phone on Friday (Fascinate). Figured I would spread the rumor and get some thoughts on it. Would it likely be available on Verizon? Is this going to be a must have phone?

Aww, I happen to like HTC phones better. Oh well, I hope this one is different than the rest of the Galaxy S phones.

That's a crappy rumor for a number of reasons. Here's some rational thought about why Nov. 8 is wrong.
