Hi guys. I don't know if any of you have experience with this, as it isn't very common from my experience. I'm using my PC as a virtual wifi hotspot for my Nexus. For the past week or so it has worked fantastically. Now, the Nexus doesn't pick up the SSID as of this morning. It will see it, attempted to connect, and either hang on authentication, obtaining the IP address, or work for a few minutes and drop the SSID off the list again. I've reinstalled drivers on both, hard reset, etc. to no avail. It's my only source of download heavy browsing, and I need to get it up and running. My first thoughts were it had something to do with the AOKP ROM or the Faux123 Kernel I had flashed. After reverting to stock 4.2.2 (Which I had planned on doing anyway) the problem persists. The following programs were used, in order, to start the wifi hotspot:

Connectify Pro (Same problem occurred while using this with my LG Optimus One)
mHotspot
Virtual Hotspot
A homemade batch file that does exactly what the above three do, without the need for a program

I'm starting to think it's something with the wireless card in my PC. I've switched the power settings on all hardware, tried all different signal bands for wifi, disabled battery optimization and low signal settings on wifi, and made sure all hardware allows for internet sharing. This just has me baffled. It worked fine for the longest time, and now it just doesn't.

This was the first place I thought I'd come, because there has to be someone out there who has experienced the same problem.

Yeah - I do not trust windows drivers for anything. I would have tested another wireless device before touching your Nexus.
