Nexus 4 Charging Orb - will it ever arrive?

I probably know the answer to this already however will the wireless charging orb ever come to light?

I remain hopeful however I seen the following link from Google + Nexus Community and it somewhat deflated me... What do you reckon? I got the Galaxy Nexus when it came out and the accessories weren't exactly quick to be released!

I purchased a Energizer Qi wireless charger while I wait for the official Google/LG Orb... I want a Qi charger that also acts as a stand so if by 4/1 Google still hasn't released the orb I'll probably buy the TYLT one.

You do realize that Google launched Gmail on April fools, right? I wouldn't put it past them.

That I didn't know!! Well an opportunity to get a Maxell Qi Wireless Charging Mat came up and I jumped at it so I have one of those... For now until Google & LG lifts the finger

It has appeared on a Norwegian online retailer. Not in stock yet, estimated February 14th. Price is horrific though. It currently sits at 739 NOK which is $133.93.

Looks like the price might reflect all the added costs of lawyers and court cases they had to go through. LOL

It's crazy that the accessories are not available yet. No chaging orb or Nexus 10 smart-cover. I really like this phone and the Nexus brand in general but I'm getting a little fed up. This happens everytime with these devices. I'm debating ever buying Nexus stuff again.
