I like stock apps, but most of the times I use either Apollo or Meridian (that btw with the last updates is awesome :p )

I use Play Music for listening to my mp3s (excellent holo interface!!) and SoundHound for ID-ing the music I hear around me :)

PowerAMP for me! It has everything I need: cross fading, an extensive equalizer, song queueing, and theming (to name a few)! I'm a music major, so I get a bit picky on how my music sounds and on my music player and PowerAMP is the only player that gives me consistently wonderful sound with an equal amount of control.

Although some may find this tenuous, but my favourite music app is Soundhound.
So many times I hear a song that I don't know and Soundhound sorts it our for me, gives me lyrics, links to YouTube, Spotify and Amazon.
Very useful.

Greg.

My favourite would have to be musixmatch, in my opinion it is the best holo ui music app out there and comes with lots of functionality :)

Currently using Spotify as my main audio player since I am too lazy to manage a local library anymore.

Apollo from Andrew Neal. Its the default player in CyanogenMod 10.1 and is perfect for my needs. If I'm not running CM10.1, then I use PowerAmp.
