WOW I FINALLY got an update on my YBOD since last Friday like everyone else. Origin Scan in Louisville, KY at 12:01am EST and says will be here tomorrow. I ordered it at 5:13pm EST on the 27th (was there 2 hours straight refreshing the stupid page trying to get the phone....) and am also a 1-2 weeker.

It's unlikely we'll see much mention on the front page of many of the Android sites. These sites being "fan" sites want to promote the Android goodness. Most are not going to want to let this big black eye be known. Yeah, there was front page mentions when the Play store was having issues taking orders, but that was looked at in a positive light as it was taken as a sign the phone was super popular.

Android Police posted an article basically outright calling the launch a disaster. I was happy to see them say it honestly.

I know it's been a tough wait, but patience should be rewarded. I'm sure Google, UPS, LG, and everyone involved wants us to receive our phones, with the best standard of quality, as soon as possible.
