Nexus 4 ringer not ringing

I've had this problem for about 2 weeks and resolved it lat night.If you click yor volume dial to the left of you scren, you can accidentally click 'none' for the ringer to be mute for all calls. I must have accidentally done this. Resetting to all has restored the ringer. How this held.

Same problem after installing WAZE. When I did a Force Stop (in Settings/Apps/Waze) ringing was OK again!

For anyone reading this much later, I discovered a new twist on this. I gradually noticed my Nexus 4 (Android 5.1.1) wasn't ringing for phones or dinging for text messages, but every other sound was working.

I just figured out the solution:
- go to settings
- Under "Device" go to "Sound & Notification"
- go to "Interruptions"
- make sure "Calls" and "Messages" are switched on

That's what did it for me. Hope this helps someone.
