I've had my Nexus 4 for about a week. It worked fine during that time but 2 days ago the phone stopped recognizing the mobile network. Which means no phone calls, texts, etc. At lock screen I get "Emergency phone calls only" and that's about it. The SIM was working fine and the phone still recognizes it. I'm going to try a SIM swap ASAP but other than that, any ideas???

I've tried all the basic stuff but no luck..

Cheers!

Make sure you have correct APN settings. Just use Google to search for your carrier's APN settings and try to manually input them.
If that doesn't work, you've probably got a faulty SIM.

I went to a Rogers dealership when I had MY N4 and they set my phone up. Try hitting them up.

If the phone was reported lost/stolen and the IMEI blacklisted that would lead to no cell service.
IF something was changed in the mobile networks section. example, going into the menu that lets you enable lte or wcdma or gsm only.. stuff like that..
or if the carrier shut off your account and the sim is no longer valid..
or if the antenna connector internally was damaged and not receiving signal.

your on the right track with trying to use a different sim.. That will help narrow down a few of those..

Hi guys. I bought my phone brand new online but when I use this website: Check the Status of Your Device in Canada | Protect Your Data. Protect Yourself. it says my phone has been black listed. Are there any other websites I can check my phone IMEI number on so I can be sure? On another website it says it's not black listed...
