how could they offer more phones when people r still backordered?
It should be a typical queue system.
Those who are backordered will get the first units, followed by any new orders in the order in which they are received until the stock is depleted.
Simple. They know how many orders they previously received, and they know how many phones they are getting in the current and near-term future shipments. So, if the number of phones they are receiving is more than the number of existing orders, they can open up to more orders. It's not complicated.how could they offer more phones when people r still backordered?
Well this should be interesting. I'll be at work and will only be able to attempt an order from my phone. If that fails I'm hoping there will be enough stock that I can order from my computer when I get home tonight.
Really hoping there isn't a big cluster f*** again. My fear this time is that some online scalper (like "Daily Steals") will scoop them up in large quantities and screw the rest of us.
Hint....
I got my nexus 4 in the original launch by going to play.google.com ON MY NEXUS 7. I think that it detected that I was coming from a moble device and handed me off to a different server used only for mobile, which wasn't getting hammered as hard.
Yeah. One of the perks of being an American.
