Nexus 5 is better than the iPhone.

I didn't know telling someone their phone isn't as good as they think it is was that bad. Oh well.

Not to veer off topic but when you visit friends do you mention their coffee maker really isn't the best, and oh, they could have gotten a better vacuum cleaner! And their car really isn't all that great either... Lol!

Who could have suspected you might find a Nexus 5 fanboy in a Nexus 5 forum? I am sure everyone here is as shocked as you are.

Actually, I've found more people that were a little more realistic about their phone and it's shortcomings and still loved the phone anyways. Then there's you.

I know, I am the worst one ever. It must be infuriating that people respond to my posts on here seriously. Can't they see what a fanboy I am?

If they're as delusional about those things as you 3 seem to be about your phone? Maybe. You do realize I started a thread on these forums putting to rest some of the negative myths about the Nexus 5, right? I guess what we're seeing here is someone with experience, someone who has used all the devices he comments on extensively, commenting about a phone he owns in an -impartial- way. Then there's the people who argue endlessly with no real knowledge outside of their YouTube videos---they tend to be the ones who get all up in arms when someone tells them the truth about their "precious".

You have heard the term, left handed compliment? That's basically how you approached the thread. But the more we expressed how much we love our phones (and Jeff is actually a lot more impartial than you seem to think - I've seen him suggest not buying n5 to people with different priorities), the more disparaging you became.

LOL

It's not his opinion of the phone that I have a problem with...it's that he gets so offended when everyone else refuses to defer to his opinion. Like we are calling him a liar or something. I'm allowed to disagree. It doesn't make me a bad person.

Of course you're allowed to disagree, but considering that I've used the devices in question and you watch videos of them, I'm going to go with what I see and know(and in the instances I've highlighted, also what the people who review the phones at this site see/know) instead of your hilarious attempts at trying to justify your purchase. Everyone can have their own opinion. It's just that yours happens to be absolutely hilarious/wrong most of the time when it comes to this phone.

But I forgot---we're in the Nexus 5 forums. That means you're allowed to argue when you don't know what you're talking about.

Just cause you've used the three devices does not make you any more objective.

Of course not. You're not even what I'd call a fanboy, you've been very fair.

He judged my poor little Nexus 4 so harshly last year:(
Jeff even made it cry its battery out in 1 hour once!

Opinion cannot be 'wrong' unless it contradicts established fact. You have not established a single piece of fact in your favor, let alone be able to accuse someone of contradicting one. You keep saying you used all three like a broken record, as if that gives you any objectivity. I have owned and driven a Honda and a Ford, but that only qualifies me to give which car I prefer, not on which is objectively better. Despite the fact that my Ford has slightly less horsepower than my Honda did, I prefer driving the Ford. But that doesn't mean I can dig in my heels and argue that my Ford is "faster" than my Honda, though for my purposes I don't notice the difference.

But I forgot---we're in the Nexus 5 forums. That means you're allowed to argue when you don't know what you're talking about.
Well, you obviously are.

This entire thread = tl;dr.

To the OP...No Nexus device yet is better, hardwarewise, than the software.
And the reason for Android's worldwide dominance in the mobile space, is due to the sales of billions of cheap, underpowered phones sold in third world countries, not the Nexus line, nor even all "flagship" devices combined.
That said, I like Android, and I use a Nexus.

...the rest of us should just defer to your obviously superior opinion as the correct one. Yeah, I got it.

Oh, now I get it. You've got a few people who don't like that I've called you out and now it's "us". Don't get it twisted, Jeff; I've only made comments to you because you're just so damn hilarious with your love for this phone. Jerry Hildenbrand explicitly states there's no difference in everyday performance between the Moto X and the Nexus 5 and you point at one thing in his video and disagree, stating the Nexus 5 is significantly faster. You haven't even used the phone, let alone side by side, and you're so in love with your Nexus 5 that you ignore logic (and the opinion of people who've actually used the devices side by side/have a hell of a lot more experience than you do) because you want to be right about it. Same thing with the iPhone 5S camera thing. And the vanilla Android vs skinned UI debate.

I didn't say my opinion is superior than everyones. Just yours.

I probably love my Nexus 5 more than Jeff does but you sure have your teeth sunk into him. It is "us" against "your" subjective opinion. Mainly because you're rude and grating. :)
