Nexus 5 LED won't work.

Hello everyone,

I received my Nexus 5 yesterday and can't seem to get the LED notification light to function. Pulse Notification light is checked in settings. It doesn't light at all when an email or text is received or even when its plugged in charging.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Try downloading Light Flow free version just to test and make sure the LED works at all.

Thanks, I just tested it with light flow "enable LED's test" and nothing.

I guess its a defective device.

If in the main phone settings, you enabled the LED and if you enabled Light Flow in the Notifications area and it still won't work, I would give Google a call and see if they have a trouble shooting idea or get yourself in for a new device.

I am having the same issues with the LED. Sometimes it works and other times it does not.

Factory reset. If that doesn't work then it is defective.

^^ This. When you call for a replacement they may have you test it a way we can't think of, but with a factory reset it would be dead.
