I woke up this morning and my lock screen has a new image. I did not do anything intentionally.

That's odd. Is that a photo you had taken and have stored on the device? Reset the lock screen image to something you want and keep an eye on it. If it happens again, consider a factory reset just to be safe.

That's especially odd since that lock screen looks like you have Android 5.0. AFAIK, they removed the ability to customize lock screens (except for the notifications, themselves) with 5.0. Unless I'm wrong, I believe you'd actually have to have downloaded an app to change the lockscreen. Have you downloaded any apps recently? As srkmagnus asks, is that lock screen background (a picture of a phone with the news feed on it) an actual picture of yours? Is that Wells Fargo icon on it a branding thing or just a random part of the image?

By any chance, were you watching a youtube video with that image before you locked the screen the last time?

This happened to me this morning too! Were you able to figure it out?? I can't seem to find anything.

My lock screen image changed also yesterday on its own. Previously there was no image, and now it's an image from a youtube video I was watching. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I've read that powering down the phone will clear that image. I don't know if they mean just turn it off or hold the power button for 13 seconds to simulate a battery pull. I've also seen something say to clear the cache for YouTube: Settings | Apps | All, select YouTube, Clear Cache and also Clear Data.

Close the Youtube app (swipe away from multi-task view).

Mine did the same thing yesterday, after watching a YouTube video. Neither clearing the cache, nor closing the app worked. Rebooting did. Thanks for your help!

So, it happened to me again, this time immediately after playing a TuneIn channel. I now have Brittany Spears face on my lock screen. Rebooting fixes it, but still a pain.

When I try to use the camera swipe on my lock screen, the wallpaper reverts to the default setting. Is there a way to stop this? I often accidentally swipe that way just unlocking the phone so it's a bit maddening to have to change my photo several times a day.
