I'd like to hear from someone who have owned both. I'm going to sell my Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 2013 to buy one of those. I know that the Nexus 6 have an enormous AMOLED display and the battery lasts much longer but I can get the Nexus 5 for 150$ new 16 GB version vs Nexus 6's 300$ 32 GB version. I want to know if it's worth the extra money. Thanks for all the help.

I had the Nexus 5 for about a year and a half - it was my first introduction to Android (coming from BlackBerry) and I LOVED it! It worked very well and it was easy to navigate. It was a great low-cost phone that still did everything its competitors (at its time of release) could. I highly recommend it. However, I have heard that the Nexus 5 is not being manufactured any more at this point (you should check this out though, I mean, I *see* them being sold still; but from what I've heard, Google is not making more?); so that might be a reason to go with the 6. Also, if you're the kind of person who plays a lot of games or watches a lot of movies/TV on your phone, I would recommend the 6. I watched *a lot* of Netflix on my Nexus 5 and it worked perfectly; but having a bigger and better display would definitely enhance your experience.

All in all, the 5 is a fabulous device and it would be a great steal if you could get it for $150!

Used the N5 for a few weeks and now use N6 as my daily driver. I think paying more for the N6 is worth it. The main reason to get the N5 would be price and if you want a smaller phone. In addition to longer battery life, the N6 has front facing speakers, turbo charge and better camera.

I moved from the N4 to the N6. Very happy with the size, and since everyone seems to complain very much about the battery life of the N5 I wouldn't recommend.

Thank you guys for all of your replies. I will go for a Nexus 6. As of Nexus 6P, it's almost 2x more expensive than Nexus 6. With 300$ for Nexus 6, it would already be overpay after selling my Nexus 4 and 7. The bigger screen of 6 compared to 5 is an advantage as I want to "replace" my tablet. Great to hear the info about Nexus 5 battery, I have 3950 mah in Nexus 7 and I don't wanted to have a poor battery. Thanks again guys :)

My battery life *did* take a dive towards the end... It would dive 20% overnight, with no usage at all. That was one of the only drawbacks of the phone.
