I've got a Nexus 5 running Android L, and I've just done a standard update of all my apps to their latest version - no Google app is running now, though. Not Google Keyboard, nor Keep, nor Camera, nor Plus. This, obviously, is a very big issue. I just get a message like "Unfortunately, Gmail has stopped."

What is going on, and why is everything crashing? How can I make everything work again?

Welcome to Android Central! Try wiping the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data: http://forums.androidcentral.com/nexus-5-rooting-roms-hacks/352008-guide-nexus-5-recovery.html. The process can take 5-10 minutes on a Nexus 5.

Did you update over the air, or did you install it manually?

Try going to Settings>Accounts, remove your Google account, then add it back again.

I went into the Google Play Store, and just pressed "Update All Apps".

Sorry, I meant your system update to Lollipop--was that over the air, or was it manually installed by you?

Hello,
from yesterday the icon on the left appeared on my top right screen and i have a lot of signal issues, but 4g works great! Exclamation icon disappeared from the signal bar!
Anybody knows what that icon means???

this is for notifications set to none...nothing to do with signal

Correct. Press your volume button, then tap "All" to accept all notifications, and that icon will disappear. If you select "Priority," you'll see a star instead.

Unfortunately, people that have flashed the factory image are still having issues. My notification light doesn't always work right, and there is stuttering while scrolling. No deal breakers, but minor annoyances. However, I know it's early into Lollipop and these things will be fixed sooner or later.

Hello AC,

My device battery is getting drained suddenly, sometimes at 60% remaining battery and sometimes at 30%. I'm facing this issues after updating to Lollipop.

And it's draining so quickly through Wi-Fi.

No, I tried rebooting many times.

BTW I got 5.0.1 update today, so will check and let you know if the problem's still coming or not.

Hey Guys,
I have just recd 5.01 OTA and now I can't log onto the play store, does anybody have a fix for this.
BTW I am a noob at this sort of thing but I love my N5.
Here are the screen caps the first one is what happens when I tap the App and the second one is when I hit Retry.

I have no codes to redeem!
Any help is appreciated!
