Will the Nexus 6 Model XT1103 work on Verizon?

I don't know much about the world of unlocked phones and I'm trying to figure out if this phone will work on Verizon. The description of the phone in the link on this post states: Unlocked cell phones are compatible with GSM carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile as well as with GSM SIM cards (e.g. H20, Straight Talk, and select prepaid carriers). Unlocked cell phones will not work with CDMA Carriers like Sprint, Verizon, Boost or Virgin.

In the Q&A section there is a question regarding Verizon compatibility with an answer of yes.

On Best Buy a Blue 32gb Model: XT1103 32GB BLUE states: Only compatible with GSM carriers, including AT&T and T-Mobile

What's the real story?

Model 1103 will work fine on VZW. I have one myself. Using my Moto X Pure Edition now though.

Bought and activated a Blue 32 gig N6 today. 10 minutes in Best Buy and 20 minutes in Verizon (10 minute wait time). Hats off the Michael T at the Verizon store in the Annapolis Harbor Mall. He knew exactly what needed to be done - activated a new nano sim in another phone, popped it in my new phone and I was on my way.
