I have a Microsoft Display Adapter on my tv. Previously I was able to screen cast of my Samsung Note 4 to the MDA w/o any problems. Now that I have moved to a Nexus 6 they do not seem to locate each other. I really thought, being clean Android, that if anything I'd have a quicker, easier connect and stream but that isn't the case.
Has anyone played around with an MDA and gotten it to work? I just bought a Chromecast which should work, if not, I might have a flaw with the phone, but I doubt that.
Now, as I know this will be asked, I tried the cast screen off the drop down, but my gut tells me that is for chromecast specifically. I've tried, unsuccessfully, numerous apps without success.
