The amount of time spent talking and thinking about this is more than just unlocking your bootloaders and flashing factory images. Then its done and it doesn't matter what version your coming from and you're on The only version that matters. The toolkits do nothing but make people lazy and can actually make the process more difficult.

I decided then to flash Marshmallow with no issues. Some of my Fi problems are gone now.

So no real need to stick to the Project Fi-specific Lollipop build? I was thinking maybe I needed to flash the Project Fi Lollipop build to use the PFi sim in my N6.

Last week i flashed my friends Nexus 6 with the marshmallow build and he is having no issues with it and Project Fi.
