Is the nexus 6 price gonna drop any further after launch of nexus 6p??

Probably. Or people won't by the Nexus 6.
Newer hardware, slightly better hardware, for the same price, AND from the same vendor?
I'd expect that $350 price tag to come back soon...

Yup...but amazon and expansys and other websites have already reduced it below 400$...and google is yet to reduce it from its current rates of 499 and 599..im guessing its not gonna go below 349 and 399 for 32gb and 64gb.

Good guess. I doubt the price can fall much lower without venturing into "loss leader" status.

We can also add that Best Buy has dropped out of the price reduction entirely. They've evidently sold off all of their unlocked N6s and are now just trying to sell off what's left of their carrier-specific units. T-Mobile has also eliminated the Nexus 6 as a "new" item, leaving only pre-owned versions available on their web site, and I imagine other carriers are following suit.

Besides, now that the 5X and 6P are out, Google's not going to want to keep pushing the N6 as a bargain. They made a strong pitch for both the 5X and the 6P. They want to see that new product move. (And it looks to be mighty good product, too.)

Yup..true...its just that there arent a lot of differences bw the 6 and 6P...it would be good to get the 6 at half the rate :P

i got the N6 with 64GB for $399 on Amazon last week. I dont regret that decision at all, I don't see anything about the 6P to make me change my mind. Fingerprint scanner would be nice, but I'd rather have Qi

Yup...i did too..on amazon..had to return it due to some issue with the sim slot..just waiting to make a decision on which one to buy nw...d only thing about 6p that excites me is the 8 megapixel front camera and the fingerprint

I just bought n6 in amazon for $370 two days ago. I believe 6p have more LTE band and cpu is faster. I base my decision on experience moto always been good. I'm from Asia and i never heard huawei cell phone.

I picked up the 64gb for 400...can't see it falling much below that...

Not a fan of the 6P in comparison to the 6. I think Motorola manufactures much better hardware than Huwaei... I also just don't like the look of the 6P...but that's just my opinion lol

Nexus 6 - Pebble Time Steel

True..motorola styles phones better..and yes the 6p isnt a big deal compared to 6..ill probably order another 6..

Can anyone tell what version Amazon is selling? Xt1100 or Xt1103? Thanks in advance.

If you get the one from Amazon that is sold and fulfilled by Amazon it should be XT1103. Should say it in the title or description, it is the US version

Well, loss-leader is better than storage-leader... as in inventory taking up tons o' space.

Regardless of what people think of the 6 or 6P... meaningless. The 6 is the old model, the 6P is the new one. Older model won't be able to sell if its close to the price of the new one.

Which kind of stinks... My Nexus 6 has a slight crack around the corner of the top screen... closed, really only cosmetic. It's going to cost 150-200 to fix if I wanted to sell it. And with NIB ones possibly in the mid 300's, I'll most likely not get much more than enough to cover the repair.

I heard the new Nexus's don't have band 12 support from T-Mobile. That is a big no for me.

That is wrong. It has band 12 but it isn't supported as of this moment. Just like it was with the Moto N6 it eventually came later on.
