I still like my phone. I would hold up since around the holidays, there might be better deals.

I believe last year, they had like $150 off the Nexus 6.

Yes.. It's still worth it IMHO..

Got mine last month and still loving it.

Definitely worth it. I think the Nexus 6P is the best and most likely last greatest Nexus device. The build quality is amazing. It fixed all the issues that the Nexus 6 had and it is still fast.

Right now there are no real deals. I would wait until they at least have it $100 off.

Worth it without a doubt. But id wait for the announcement of new phones tomorrow, may drive the prices down even further.

Price may drop a bit more after Pixel is announced tomorrow. For sure it is worth it then. It's a great phone and will last you two more years easy.

I bought mine in the summer (August?) for $375 (32G) - totaly worth it. I'm still riding a high with this phone (and rockin' Project Fi). Not a fan of the bluetooth range issues, non-removable battery. That's it. The only things I don't like.

Pixel phone is a joke. Starts at $649 for crappy 32MB of storage and it only works with Verizon. I will stay with the Nexus 6P until it stops working or slows down then I will get a third party phone not a Samsung though.

Maybe if purchased and financed through VZ, but phones sold through Play Store and Project Fi will certainly be unlocked.

Agreed. I would try to nab a 6P if you want to stay in the Google ecosytem, it should go on sale eventually soon somewhere. It looks like its not on the google store page anymore...

No. It works with all major carriers, not just Verizon. Verizon has them in store where you can buy then through Verizon, but you can always get one from the Google store or best buy.

A $650 base is in line with equivalent offerings from both Samsung and Apple.... same goes for bumping up to larger options. Well, we don't know what a 64G/128G S7/S7E would cost since one does not exist. But if it did, it would probably be pretty close.

Google is basically pricing the Pixel in line with all the other 'flagships' on the market now.

It's worth buying one if you can find one, it's off of the Google website because the Pixels have been announced. The Pixels are much more expensive ($300 more than the original 6P price) with only a small bump in CPU performance to show for it.

i love the front facing speakers - i don't know if i can ever have a phone without them now. gonna hold onto my 6p for as long as i can stand it!

Definitely still worth buying...I picked up a like new silver 128gb for $280 from amazon warehouse deals this week. It has a warranty through 09/20/2017 and is good as new. They keep going in and out of stock.
