Nexus 6P Photos! Show us what your phone can do!

Easy to use if you know the basics of photography. If not it will take you some messing around to learn it. Its worth the $3 Just take some time in learning how to adjust iso, shutter speed and all that. Outside of that its a great app and will allow you to take a pic and save it as a .jpg as well as a raw file.

My Google Opinion Rewards will easily pay for this as I've been saving. I know all this stuff but not too well. Photography is a hobby of mine and I do stuff for friends w/ my DSLR so I know a little bit.

Thanks for the info!!

Packed house for Springsteen in Albany, NY. 3.5 hour show, with no intermission...

This was done using the panorama mode, thought it came out pretty nice, no post-processing done to it.

Nice shot! I didn't peep too hard, but it looks seamless! Some panoramas can yield some hilarious results due to moving subjects. VERY jealous you got to go to that show ;)

Thanks. As far as I can tell, no seams. Take it back, upon closer inspection the screen on the left has a 2-headed Bruce on it. Used the panorama mode on the Google camera app. The guy next to me actually asked about my phone when he saw the screen, he asked if it was the iPhone 6+ (he had a 4 or 4S based on the size).

This was my 3rd Springsteen show in this arena (and Bruce's 8th I think), in my opinion this was one of the better places to sit, and it was the lowest price. I was on Ticketmaster as soon as tickets went on sale but there were still tickets available directly as recently as a couple weeks ago.

"Yes. If today is still in 2015, then the Nexus 6P will remain to be one of the most disappointing smartphones in the photography category. However, today is different and Google has launched a software update that actually maximizes the potential of the 12.3MP rear camera unit on the Nexus 6P.

Known as Camera 3.1, the update is being offered on the Google Play Store and it basically optimizes the performance of the Nexus 6P’s 12.3MP rear camera. With it, the rear camera can function faster and snap pictures more efficiently.

The best part is that Camera 3.1 also introduces plenty of new options so that you can snap a picture with your desired settings. Such an addition makes the Nexus 6P as good as a compact camera and on-par with other flagship devices from 2015. Camera 3.1 can be downloaded for free on the Google Play Store today."

Stumbled upon this. I hadn't heard of this prior. Looking forward to seeing if we get improved performance out of Camera 3.1 update.

I don't have enough posts yet to post the link. IM me if you want the direct link.
