Nexus 6P: show us your home screen set up.

I'm surprised how many people use folders.

I use my phone closer to an iPhone where I just have all my most used apps laid across a couple of home screens

Here is my homescreen from not so long ago (Not a 6P): Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet

Btw this reminds me:
On the iPhone I really liked the bubbles which told you how many notifications you had for each app.

Does the google launcher do this now? Or do I still have to go with Tesla Unread?

you realize that iPhones have had folders for years and a ton of people use them there, right?

I'm surprised how many people just litter their homescreens with all their apps. That's one of the #1 reasons I'd never use an iPhone. And I'm not knocking you...use your stuff any way you like, I just personally like a clean minimal design. And don't get me started on the clutter of app labels!!

This is what I'm dealing with. Just got it so it will probably change.

Wow, how did you get your google now widget bar blue? Is it via a specif launcher? and if so, which one is it!? It'd look amazing with my sailor moon background. lol

It's because of Action Launcher 3

I keep it a bit busier than most. I like having the things I use the most often either right on the main home screen, or in a folder on that screen. The clock/weather widget is a habit I've liked since HTC's Windows Mobile days.

the wallpaper is a 9x16 crop of a photo of Pluto that NASA recently released.

Here's mine! Running Action Launcher 3 and using icons from Velur.

Probably this is a good place to ask this question since so many of you are using launchers. Sorry if some feel it is off topic (slightly).

Do any of the launchers either adjust the color of the notification icons based on the color of the background or force the background of the notification bar to be black? I have wallpaper that makes the notification bar black on the right and almost white on the left (picture of my dog). My problem is that on the left with white notification icons I can hardly see and rarely make out what they are. Thanks.

Action Launcher (the premium version, I think it costs $2 or so) allows you to change the notification bar color. So you can change it to black or another dark color if you have a wallpaper that's too light. I use Action Launcher but just don't change the color of my notification bar since I generally use dark wallpapers. You can also change the color of the Google search bar (as I did above) and the app drawer as well.
