Nexus 7.2 16gb or 32gb recommendation

I'm late to the party, but 32GB has my vote. As soon as they start stacking the V-NAND chips (there was an article on flipboard about it) and storage gets up to the 1TB level, coders are going to start writing in bloat like they did with the PC's. This will be during the time of owning your shiny, new, Nexus 7...

I would appreciate opinions as to which version of the new Nexus 7.2 to buy, the 16gb or 32gb. It is worth the additional $40 for the 32gb version?

It really only depends on your personal preference and how much space you will need. Although the price difference isn't much if you won't be needing a 32gb there isn't a point to purchase a unit with a larger storage.

Get the 32gb model. The price difference isn't that much between both and you'll be glad you got more storage should you get close to the 16gb mark. I think it's worth the extra money for the peace of mind that you will almost never run out of storage, but to each his own.

I use my tablet for a few games and web surfing so 16 GB is more than enough for me. Phones on the other hand 32gb is a must.

Why are phones a must for 32GB (or at least larger than 16GB)?

I bought the 16GB first because I was too impatient to wait for the 32GB at launch and second that I have a Seagate Wireless Plus for my media files.

Considering that unlike Apple, the premium for the 32GB model is pretty reasonable, I'd recommend that. I'm sitting with about 3GB free on my N7 with very little on it.

One of the main reasons I updated from the 2012 version was to go from 16GB to 32Gb - I was always running under 2GB free and anytime I wanted to add something, something else had to go.

As others have stated, I bought the 32GB because the $40 price difference was not that bad at all. Especially since there is no SD card slot that is definitely a factor as well. With my Galaxy S3, I probably would go back and buy a 16GB since it has SD card support.

I would have probably bought a 16GB version, but I had to buy the 32GB because that's the only option with the LTE model.

I have a 16GB phone, and it's not a problem.
