Nexus 7 2013 and zagg auto fit keyboard.. Doesnt work..y?

I bought the zagg auto fit keyboard.. the box indicate that it should work with my nexus.. i established a Bluetooth connection between them, and the devices are paired.. but the keyboard does not function.... why? what can i do?:''(
