I want to say thank you to my dad. He does the physical labor it requires to get buildings built, and without him, I would not be going to one of the greatest colleges in the nation. Thank you Daddy!
I get sort of irritated and short when driving this time of year with all the traffic and inconsiderate people on the road. I sort of lost faith in peoples good nature I guess. Today that faith was restored when I stopped my car on a busy street to let two elderly women cross. One was suffering from a bad hunchback and the other was very slow to move. It was freezing outside and snowing at the time... the hunchbacked lady took the time to stop and straighten out best she could and wave a grateful wave back to me.
My daughter is an awesomely kind little girl. While out shopping, she asked what the salvation army people were collecting money for. When she learned that it was to help people who were in need, she pulled out the dollar that she had been saving to buy a snack at school and gave it to them. She said that it was more important for other people to have money for food. She's an awesome kid
