Nexus 7 Bluetooth can't see other devices.

Haven't tried until now but I tried to connect my Motorola S10-HD via Bluetooth and no matter what I try the 7 cannot see the device. Tried search, making the tablet visible and nothing works. Anybody else have this issue?

Edit: After rebooting the tablet and trying several more times it finally paired. I don't know what really did it.

I have the S-10 headphones, too, and have experienced no problems pairing with my Nexus 7.

I've got exactly the same problem, I've got a planktonic Bluetooth which my htc desire sees and works well with, but the mighty nexus 7 doesn't even see it! Any further ideas would really be appreciated.

do a factory reset on the headset, [ press and hold power and the + until light is steady lit BLUE ]
fixed my prob immediately

Bluetooth has known to be iffy and on-off on Nexus devices. Don't know why, but it happens.

Try a test to see if it is related to wifi. Turn off wifi. If it works, then you need to look at the channel your wifi router is set for and change it. Seems to be interference issues abound.

To do a full factory reset:
(When you restore the earbuds to its factory settings, the paired devices list is deleted.)
- First, put the earbuds in pairing mode. Choose from the following:
- With the earbuds powered off, press and hold the Audio/call button until you hear "pairing" or
- With the earbuds powered on and not during a call, press and hold the volume up (+) and volume down (?) buttons until you hear "pairing"
- The indicator light, on the right earbud, flashes red and blue to indicate pairing mode.
- Second, while the earbuds are in pairing mode, press and hold the volume up (+) and volume down (?) buttons until the LED flashes purple.
- After the reset, the earbuds power off.


I restarted my Nexus 7, reset my earphones and everything worked.
