Nexus 7 Case function not working

Hi Everybody

I bought myself the Poetic Slimline case of Amazon the other day: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...ag=hawk-future-21&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU2542652
It's been quite a popular case and it looks relatively sturdy and well made. Unfortunately the sleep wake function on my case only seems to work very occasionly. I haven't found any other people with this issue and I can't seem to work out a solution myself. I know the magnet works because I can use a normal magnet to turn the case on and off but I am a bit suprised that the case is not working because the magnet on it seems to be reasonably strong. None of the reviews I read of amazon have had this problem so I don't know why it's affecting my case. I suspect that I have just got a faulty case but I wanted to see if anyone had any ideas or solutions.}

Mine works perfectly, but strangely the black has a different listing:

Both describe a "final version" and I believe there have been instances like yours. I'd get Amazon to exchange it.

I have heard that the volume buttons are difficult to reach in that pad. I know it definitely is a problem with the Nexus 10 case.

Don't know about Poetic/N10, but no problem with it on my N7.
