Nexus 7 charging indicator

just tried charging my nexuis up for the first time.

i am charging it from the plug socket in wall - the white battery indicator comes on for about 10secs in middle of screen, then goes off , is this normal or should the battery charging indicator stay on at all times throughout charging? just wondering if its charging while the screen is blank!?

*tablet is switched off btw*

Yeah it turns itself of quite quick don't worry it will be charging, you Carn't tell its charging without a led light.

Yes, it should be charging. If you press the power button, I think you will see the battery indicator again.

Thankyou , i was just a bit worried when the screen went blank while charging

actually , how do i know when its fully charged , will the battery symbol come on the screen to let me know or will i have to keep turning the tablet on to see what % its on?

If you look at the battery on the notification bar. It will have a lighting bolt when charging and it will be sold when finished.
