Nexus Problem - it's too good!

If I had a phone that was 5 inches plus, I would think that carrying a 7 inch tablet would be redundant. I'm not really sure which I like better, the phablet or having a regular sized phone and a tablet.

5in would be the most i would need now, its like comparing a galaxy note to a 7in tablet.
I could get the note or a s3 im my pocket fairly easy vs a 7in tablet which is obviously not made to go in your pocket, but to carry or have some kind of travel case for. Those few inches make a nice difference. So i guess to have a s3 or note and a tablet is redundant huh. Most newer phone have atleast a 4.5in screen, maybe even bigger like 4.6-4.8 so why have a 7in tab with that logic as you say? They are all good for their purpose, im just a big screen, pocket fitting phone guy for now.

My Nexus 7 basically has the screen size of 2 4.8 inch phones side by side. 7 inch actually equals more than 4.8 inch phone + 2.2 inches. Because of the layout you're actually getting twice the screen real estate.

exactly man thats big, i probably couldnt get 2 phones + in my pocket, but im glad android stepped up and is now competing hard in the tab department as well. But is it really better than ipad? I would hope so....fck apple crybaby asses ha!

Yeah I tend to irritate my wife with mine because I hate putting it down. I'm addicted to it. Major problem lol. Also other problem is she wants one now too

I dropped mine the first day I got it!! Getting out of the truck at McDonald's, lucky for me it landed on its back

I just spent all afternoon on the Nexus 7(again). I also own an iPad, but now it just sits there. My daughter is going to take the iPad to college, since I won't be missing it.

Thanks for all the responses everyone, glad I'm not the only one with Nexus fever.
I've just started using it as an e-reader and found an app called WattPad so my problem is going to get worse...

My only complaint is that it is so sleek that I'm always getting it upside down and can't find the Power Button on the first try... #FirstWorldProblems

Ahhh, just left the Playbook for a Nexus 7. An I don't miss it one bit. The nexus is more pleasing to hold an the screen is beautiful and perfect for me. I just want to hold it at all times. Can't wait until my smart cover gets in!
